Futures sizing and cost budget
A static, hypothetical position budget with explicit unit conversion, integer rounding and cost assumptions.
These are chosen inputs, not actual exchange margin rates, executable prices or a recommended allocation. The target ratio is a sizing heuristic, not a promise of realized volatility. Long exposure is assumed for the adverse-move illustration.
The round-trip count is a scenario-horizon input, not an automatically annualized forecast. Include intended rolls in that count only once. Fees or costs not entered are excluded.

The combined margin and adverse-move illustration exceeds the entered capital. The worksheet does not reduce the position to conceal this shortfall.
The cash sum is not a complete liquidity requirement or a maximum loss. Margin can change, intraday demands can occur and losses can exceed assumptions.
